Your home is at risk if you do not keep up repayments on a mortgage or other loan secured on it. Notify your mortgage lender and your insurers of your intention to let the property. Remove any items of a high monetary or personal value. In general, the shorter the inventory is the better. Remove any furniture that does not comply with the current fire & furnishings safety regulations. Obtain a CORGI gas/elect. engineer's certificate in respect to any gas/electric appliances (We can arrange). Install smoke alarms on each floor of the property. Arrange for your mail to be re-directed. Clean the property and tidy any garden to help set the standards you expect from your in-going tenants. Cancel any milk and newspaper deliveries.
